NYC Craft Beer Week $10 Tasting w/ NY State Beers
My friends & I had such a great time at the beer tasting! All of the beers were delicious, as were the bourbon & tater tots. The place was really cool, and the people running the event were knowledgable and fun. I would definitely be interested in attending another!

$10 Tasting w/ Sierra Nevada Brewing Co & Bourbon
A good deal is hard to come by these days. For the small price of $10 you get an ample tasting at one of my favorite dives in NY. Its not your formal tasting with several people quietly sipping beside you with talks of notes and depth. No, this is your average night at a bar PLUS samples of beer and bourbon going around. The Reps for Sierra Nevada and the Bourbon (forgot the name) went around to each table to offer a sampling. You tasted, they described it and they moved on leaving you to talk about it with your friend. By the way, Its definitely better to attend this tasting with a friend or two. You won't get shitfaced on this tasting but the bourbon i tried was outstanding. It will definitely allow you to try something new and for $10, it can't be beat. Oh, and they give you tater tots too! SCORE!

a really fun activity to do on Wednesday! It is relaxed and full of beer and bourbon. What's not to like? Bonus points for delicious food you can buy upstairs and awesome bar owners of Idle Hands! :)

$10 Tasting w/ Smuttynose Brewing Company & Bourbon
Class was a lot of fun and couldn't believe it only cost $10. Seriously, I got like 3 beers and a delicious whiskey for $10...in NYC. That doesn't really happen. The class/tasting was informal but informative. For those who haven't been to Idle Hands, it's downstairs in building in Alphabet City, reminds you of rock n' roll, a good way. A very eclectic crowd, but everyone friendly and interesting. Probably not the best class for someone looking for most in-depth whiskey lesson, but a hell of a bargain/fun thing to do on a Weds night.

Great class! Awesome beer, yummy tots and innovative way to pair beer with music. Would definitely recommend.
