What you'll learn in this french cooking class:

Learn to cook the following:
  • Mesclun salad with fruit, nuts and blue cheese
  • Provemcale Vegetable soup with pesto
  • Roasted Cornish hen
  • Green Lentil Stew with Warm Dressing
  • Potatoes baked in milk and cream
  • Blueberry Clafoutis
  • Simple Vanilla Ice Cream
Each student receives a Miette canvas tote bag.

Students below 18 years old should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Classes are not refundable, but you can reschedule if we are notified at least 7 business days prior to the class you have signed up for. If you find you can not make it to a class at the last minute, please consider finding someone to take your place.

    In three hours, I learned several things that will permanently improve my cooking. Also, considering the delicious meal and wine at the end, the price tag on this course is a seriously good value.

Miette means, "little crumb" in French. This name was chosen while giving cooking classes at the restaurant Tartine in the West Village. Since Tartine means "slice of bread" we thought it an appropriate name for the school!
