In this fun, hands-on and interactive class, you will learn the tips and tricks of how to make a classic potato dough from scratch. Try your hands at gnocchi made from both russet potatoes. Your chef instructor will demonstrate how to make a basic red sauce and a brown garlic, onion, herb sauce to enjoy with your gnocchi.
During this class you will learn the techniques for gnocchi dough preparation, sweating onions and garlic, how to make and use a roux, reducing liquids over heat, and much more!
We source the freshest ingredients to let the flavors shine through in these versatile recipes.
Everyone will sit down and enjoy their pasta with both sauces at the end of class. Feel free to BYOB to enjoy throughout the class! The venue has a cute outdoor patio with additional seating to enjoy your meal and drinks (weather permitting).
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
