Kendall was a great teacher and answered all our questions! He also made sure that the class was light hearted and not super serious. I'm glad I took the class!

This course was I formative and fun. The teacher was knowledgable and clearly delighted with the pickling process. I can't wait to taste the pickles I made in the class and brought home.

I liked this class a lot. Brooklyn Kitchen is a great class, and the vibe was very cool (as were the others in class). Pickling is relatively straightforward, and this class was more demonstration based, but we did make our own pickles, which we were able to take home (and were delicious).

The class was great- the instructor was engaging and very helpful and knowledgeable. We loved the venue, the pickles, the complimentary drinks, and the company. The only reason that I am rating this a four instead of a five star class is that the price was a little bit steep considering the level of the class and the amount you brought home afterwards. We would definitely attend another class in another area we are interested in. Great way to spend a Monday night!

Awesome class, I had Kendal as a teacher. Would defiantly recommend to others. We pickled carrots and got to take a jar home.

I really enjoyed this class -- the instructor, Kendall, from McClure's, was really knowledgeable and passionate about pickling. He answered everyone's questions and laid out the process of vinegar pickling really well. He walked us through a batch of pickled carrots with Indian-inspired spices, and now I'm ready to pickle just about anything! If you're interested in other kinds of pickling (e.g. the fermentation method), make sure to check the course description to see what the class entails, because apparently it changes from class to class. But this was a great introduction to pickling and I'd recommend it to anyone who's interested.
