Great facility, good information, great recipes, fun!

This class was fun and easy. Really enjoyed myself.

Wasn't sure if I really needed this class but ended up learning more than I thought I would. Great instruction, small class which allowed for questions and help, have already started using my new skills.

Great class very informative and fun

The sausage making class was really fun! The atmosphere was very casual and I didn’t feel any pressure as someone who doesn’t really cook. I enjoyed how we were able to taste the sausages before picking the flavoring for the ones we were making. The end of the class dragged on a bit as there were about 20 people waiting around for 2 sausage makers, so I would suggest a change to help that. But overall, I would take another class at Eataly in the future!

Nice introductory class; both hands on and demonstation format. Chef was knowledgeable and kept group on task and on schedule. Left class with new skills and lots of recipes. Would certainly recommend this class to orhers.

The class was fun and interesting. My only complaint is that the recipe we were given to take with us did not match the recipe we used. To omit the initial olive oil on the ingredients list is an egregious error that someone should have caught before printing. It took an observant classmate to bring it to our attention. You're better off googling a focaccia recipe. Which should be a major embarrassment to an Italian cooking school.

When I signed up for this class, I was hoping to learn how to make Arancini from scratch. Learn how to make risottos for Arancini which is a important part of making it.
Not How to Roll them... Everything was premade. I was truly very disappointed. Didn't even get to fry them.. I made an extra trip to go to Downtown Eatly to learn but nothing!! I could have learned like this on YouTube, instead...sadly!
The instructor was nice...

Great value for the money. Lots of cheese, bread, wine and good info.

The teacher Josh was great!

The class was great. The instructor was great. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the background music in the space occasionally made it difficult to hear.
-
Internet said it was an hour class. Was disappointed that the rice and filling were already prepared. All we had to do was roll it into a ball and bread it. I thought there would be more hands-on and learning. I am still interested in attending classes. Chef Josh was very good.

I recommend taking Cheese 101. This beginner's class is an excellent start. I credit the presenter on how he presented the information. Besides being knowledgeable, he connected well with the group which was a sizable class. I credit Etaly on its class format. There was a server on hand who attended to us -- keeping our glasses filled, etc. Although silent throughout the presentation, she was attentive and graceful. This class was well thought out. The only suggestion I would make is that your olive oil salesperson who was peddling outside the classroom needs to learn from the server or his other sales colleagues. After class, I and my friends went to purchase those items shared with us during the presentation. When it came time to purchase the olive oil, we asked the salesperson if he knew of olive oil used in class. His response "How would I know". We sample what he had and comment that particular one was darker in taste compared to the one in class. His response "of course it is dark, it is olive". We walked away not purchasing.

I could definitely see the passion in our presenter. He is clearly very knowledgeable and eager to teach. I think the course could benefit by the use of visuals, photos maybe a few slides. There were times throughout the presentation that the cheese making process was described in great detail but it was difficult to follow and really dragged on. I feel the class could also benefit by placing some more emphasis on some of the more practical information for us as the consumer and slightly less details of the cheese production.
We love eataly and love the fact you provide education experiences. We thought our presenter was fully qualified, capable and personable yet the content needs to be edited a bit. Thanks for allowing us to share our thoughts and we look forward to taking more classes in the future!

The historically points that were included during the presentation made the course even more interesting !
The demonstration of how to prepare the food
was especially well done and easy to follow!
The wine pairing really enhanced the meal which was delicious !!

I enjoyed this class. It was very interesting and well prepared. I plan on taking a class some time in the summer.

We learned a lot and my son really had fun! Indeed, we decided to make similar courses a Mother's Day tradition. The class size was perfect to allow ample instructor attention. I enjoyed learning the little pearls scattered throughout the experience.
-
Awesome class, good good/wine! Only complaint is that the class location was listed as la scuola, but is actually near the meat/seafood counter.
-
We totally enjoyed this class!

Loved it, I am pretty sure I can't ever buy fresh mozzarella again. Snacks & Prosecco were also nice!
