Description
What you'll learn in this drawing class:
Anyone can learn to draw! In this two hour course learn some of the fundamentals of setting up and drawing a still life from the comfort of your own home.
Techniques include:
- contour drawing
- value drawing
- various shading techniques
- understanding proportions
Class will be offered online via the Zoom platform. The class will incorporate fun warm-ups and a chance to connect with other New Yorkers who might otherwise be stuck at home.
- Drawing Pad (At least 12 x 14 inches), not newsprint
- Pencil Sharpener
- White Eraser
- Gum Eraser
- Tortillon
- Pencils including 4B, 2B, HB, and H
- Water Bottle
- Stool for sitting (highly recommended)
Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least 2 business days in advance of the class will be honored with a refund less 5% cancellation fee.
- Students who cancel less than 2 business days prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.
