Great class, excellent teacher. My one suggestion is that certain safety measures (wearing a mask while soldering, for example, or wearing gloves when applying patina) should at least be discussed, even if the teacher chooses not to follow them herself.

Laurie is a wonderful teacher!! I made two hangable pieces in the 8 sessions of this course. She shows you how to do things, step by step, and then lets you run with it. I grew so much under her guidance. I’ll be returning in September to create more beautiful things.

Question from Anonymous
Are all of the supplies provided? Or are students responsible for bringing their own supplies?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! You don't need to bring anything to the first class. The school supply the solder, foil, cutters and the glass for their first project. Afterward, you will need to purchase these things, but that is not until about the third or fourth class. I hope this helps!
