i loved this class and the arc over six weeks. Caroline was encouraging of everyone’s idea and the style they wanted to achieve. the only thing was due to the nature of different people’s projects, we all needed different attention. i felt i was waiting around some of the time for the next step for me.

This class was exceptional!!! The teacher, Caroline, is passionate about what she does, and very patient and skilled at explaining things. I learned SO MUCH. Honestly, I looked forward to this class all week every week. The detailed work we did took time, precision, and patience, and I actually improved my ability to focus for periods of time. It was incredible to see everyone making such gorgeous jewelry step by step, and then the completed pieces. The studio is amazing, with many different types of tools and machines for making jewelry. Caroline makes lovely jewelry herself, some which is displayed in a few places. This class gets my highest possible recommendation.

I loved the class. The instructors were always teaching us little tricks to help us become more comfortable and efficient in working with the material. They would do a demo and then we would go execute the steps, which I think really helps in the learning and obtaining of knowledge that we learned.

Such a fun class! Learned so much. We made a ring and a pendant. Instructors of this class are very very helpful and friendly. There are only 6 or 7 students in the class and there are two instructors.. which is 1 instructor for every 3-3.5 students. The studio is soooo cute too! This place is such a gem in Brooklyn! I'd love to sign up for more classes with them :)

Question from anonymous
Is there a more advance class at this studio?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! Though it's named "Intro" this class is also good for advanced students- they often have repeat students taking the course. Because of our small class sizes, each person gets a lot of individual attention and our instructors adapt to everyone's individual skill set and needs. Also, the first project is a little bit more challenging and students can choose to create a more complicated design. This class really hones in on construction and soldering skills. I hope that's helpful!

Question from Amelia W.
Is this is a good course to jump into if someone is looking to create an engagement ring and/or wedding band?
Answer from Chermalyn P. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi, Amelia! The provider advised that this is a good class to learn the techniques involved with crafting a wedding band, but the class works only in silver. It is also a structured class meaning that there are set projects to work on, there's plenty of creative leeway but you'd be making more than just a ring. This class would be great for students to take and then if they wanted to make a wedding band in gold afterward, they suggest booking a private lesson.
