What you'll learn in this handbuilding class:

Students attending this class will learn classic ceramics techniques used to make teapots, vases, coffee mugs, and practically any functional and sculptural works they can imagine.

This class is "trial" class is a hands-on intensive (2 hours). "Handbuilding" is a process whereby the potter shapes, assembles and embellishes pots from clay that he or she has molded into flat sheets, rolls, coils or other shapes. Handbuilding is generally more time intensive than other potter techniques. Also, the finished product tends to show imperfections and irregularities that distinguish handbuilt pieces from ceramic art made using a potter's wheel.

Good teacher. Fun activity. Tools were all handy, clay ready and good set-up. I look forward to being able to use the wheel. One thing I’d change: it would be nice to be able to select which glaze/color will go in our pot/mug/bowl. Thanks

This place seems to be pretty unstructured, and the woman by the front desk was pretty rude too. However, the space itself is clean, spacious and comfortable to be in.

I think it was over priced, considering that you have to pay extra to take what you've built after $75 worth class for pottery.
