What you'll learn in this handbuilding class:

This workshop is a beginning handbuilding course. You will learn classic ceramic techniques such as coiling, slabbing and pinching to make a one of a kind planter.

All materials will be provided for this class, however you should wear clothing that you can get messy in. Paper will be provided for sketching basic designs, but feel free to bring a sketchbook with ideas you have been thinking about.

Workshop participants will make 1 planter that will be finished with glaze. The planter can be picked up 2-3 weeks after the workshop. If time allows for additional pieces, you may choose to have them fired as well for an additional fee.
