Description
What you'll learn in this screen printing class:
In this workshop, students will learn step by step how to screen-print photo-based images on glass using enamels. Everything will be covered from the selection and production of your original imagery to its translation into a screen and then onto a glass surface. From there, we will discuss kiln strategies and methods for firing enamels onto the surface to create a beautiful and durable finish. Tomas will present both widely known techniques and his personal innovations.
This course is great for any level of glass or image making experience.

School Notes:
Preparing for class
- It is recommended that students bring notebooks and water bottles to in person classes. All basic materials and supplies needed for the class will be provided. If students wish to use specific tools or materials not supplied in class they are responsible for obtaining these items themselves.
Studio Attire
- For your safety, protective eyewear must be worn at all times in all areas of the UrbanGlass Studio. We will provide appropriate eyewear for your use. Appropriate work clothes are also required. Flammable or synthetic fabrics, sandals and open-toe shoes are not allowed. Long hair must be tied back.
Refund Policy
Enrollment cancellations made outside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class are eligible for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Refunds will not be granted for any cancellations made inside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class, or for withdrawals during class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
