What you'll learn in this embroidery class:
Modern Embroidery and Lettering are incredibly popular at the moment and what better way to have the best of both worlds and combine these beautiful art forms to create gorgeous monograms. Elevate anything and everything with different types of alphabets, from romantic florals, to modern calligraphy, to fun block printing, and textural basketweave alphabets
In this beginner friendly, no experience needed class, you will learn:
- the basics of modern embroidery and monogram layout
- how to design the letter you wish to embroider
- how to transfer your design to fabric and properly attach it to the hoop
- how to create essential embroidery stitches to use with your monograms
- how to handle different types of fabric so you can stitch everything from canvas pouch bags, to denim, to t-shirts, to silk, and more!
All materials are included and you'll go home with a hoop, needle, fabric, and embroidery floss, all in a cute cotton drawstring bag that is begging to be monogrammed with your newfound skills!
As a bonus, you'll also take home a PDF with several different alphabets in lots of styles so you'll have plenty to choose from when you begin monogramming everything!
Note:
Comfortable clothing, apron, beverages and snacks, a blanket if we're sitting on the grass.
Refund Policy
- Students can reschedule to another class anytime as long as it's within 3 business days of their scheduled class.
- For refunds less 5% cancellation fee, the request has to be made 15 business days in advance of the class they're signed up for.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
