In this course you will learn how the basics of baking with many different flours depending on your dietary restrictions. By the end, you'll be able to apply this to create or modify recipes to work with YOUR dietary dietary restrictions or preferences.
I'll begin the class with a brief introduction of the various types of flours. We will go over the different flours including but not limited to almond flour, coconut flour, cassava flour, arrowroot flour, squash flour and many other flours.
From there, we will experiment with baking pancakes and muffins as they are the easiest to play with and manipulate.
You can simply watch and learn or participate. If you' 'd like to bake alongside me, you'll need the following ingredients. Throughout the entire course you make ask questions:
About the instructor:
I am a certified health coach who loves cooking and baking gluten-free whole food meals. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease almost 15 years ago which ignited my passion for clean and gut friendly dishes. I specialize in meals and baked goods that taste delicious but also heal the gut, boost the immune system and create glowing skin!
What will be included in my Virtual Class package?
One ticket includes an access link to your live, online class. The class will be delivered via web conferencing software and feature a live, professional instructor who will walk you through a lesson as described above. You will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as participate from home, and will receive associated recipes with what you've learned.
Will I need anything from home to use in the class?
You will need a reliable Internet connection as well as a computer or device with which you can access your virtual class. We recommend you arrive to class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device and connection. Additionally, if you'd like to participate, you will need the materials and/or equipment listed in the description above.
Am I able to ask questions or interact with the class?
Yes, you'll both be able to ask questions using the chat function in the video hosting software as well as at certain intervals during the class via voice/audio. If the class winds up being on the smaller side, more spontaneous interaction/questions will be encouraged.
