What you'll learn in this basic baking class:

Piping Techniques:

In this three hour class the students will learn all the technical aspects of cake decorating techniques. Such as the correct use of the pastry bag, and different tips to create star borders, shell borders, rosette borders, zigzags borders, inverse borders and braided borders.

Spatula Techniques/Leveling, Filling, Crumb Coat:

In this three hour class, you’ll learn how to use of the spatula to apply icing on your cakes. Also how get your cakes even and smooth using different tools. You’ll also learn the correct use of the pastry bag to created different designs.The students will also learn all about, using the right tools and techniques for leveling using serrated knife, cake levelers, filling and crumb coat

Basic Cupcake Decoration:

Introduction to basic cupcake decoration. Students will learn how to decorate the cupcakes with fondant and gumpaste. They will also learn how to make a rosette design on top of the cupcake using a pastry tip and pastry bag. Students will take their beautiful cupcakes back home with them.

Chocolate Cakes, vanilla cake, cupcakes, Vanilla and chocolate Buttercream Icing:

In this three hour demonstration, You’ll learn all the technical aspects of baking, right ingredients temperature, measuring dry and liquid ingredients. Students will also learn how to elaborate a very moist vanilla cake, cupcakes, blackout chocolate cake, cupcakes and delicious vanilla buttercream icing, chocolate and mocha filling.

Dominican Cake, quick cakes, Filling and Icing I:

Learn all the secrets on how to make a delicious Dominican cake. In this three hour workshop, the student will learn how to make two different versions of this famous cake. Also how to make blueberry cake, marble cake, mocha cake, amaretto cake, Piña Colada cake. Pineapple, strawberry. As well as the entire secret to elaborate the meringue icing

Vanilla/Dominican Cake, Quick cakes, Filling and Italian Butter Cream II:

Learn all the secrets on how to make a delicious vanilla/Dominican cake. In this three hours workshop, the student will learn how to make two different versions of this famous cake. Also how to make, a quick black fruit cake, a pineapple upside-down, orange cupcakes, Pineapple, strawberry, and dulce de leche filling. And the entire secret to elaborate the meringue icing and Italian buttercream.

Hummingbird Cake, Carrot Cake, Red Velvet Cake, Pumpkin Cake, Apple Spice Cake, and Banana Cake

In this three hours class students will learn how to create a delicious hummingbird cake, carrot cake, red velvet cake, cream cheese frosting, pumpkin cake, apple spice cake, and banana cake

Tres Leches Cake, Tiramisu Cake, Chiffon Cake, Sponge Cake, and Fresh Fruit Cake

​In this class you will learn how to prepare different type of cakes, icings and fillings: Tres leches Cake, tiramisu cake, lady fingers, tangerine chiffon cake, Chantilly Icing, pastry cream, fruit glaze, sponge cake, and fresh fruit cake.

Fondant Techniques:

In this three hour workshop, you’ll learn all the technical secret to roll out fondant and cover an 8” x 8” square cake using this sugar paste. The students will also learn, how to use gum paste and fondant to create different designs. The cake will be provided for the student.

Gum Paste Flowers I: Rose, Rose bud, Calla Lily, Foliage and Painting.

​In this three hour workshop, the students will learn how to create a very quick and simple gum paste mixture to create rose, rose bud, calla lily and foliages.You’ll also learn how to add color to the paste and how to roll out, cutting and shaping technique. In this workshop, the students will also learn how to use color dust to paint all the flowers.

Gum Paste Flowers II: Peony, Bud, Foliage and Painting.

In this three hour workshop, the students will learn how to create a very quick and simple gum paste mixture to create Peony, bud and foliages.You’ll also learn how to add color to the paste and how to roll out, cutting and shaping technique. In this workshop, the students will also learn how to use color dust to paint all the flowers.

Tier Cakes Workshop:

In this three hour workshop, students will learn how to build beautiful cakes for Weddings, Sweet Sixteen's or Anniversaries. You’ll learn the correct way to create tiers, using dowels and columns for classic and modern designs. In this three hour class we’ll create different types of designs using royal icing, gum paste and fondant. Also, how to create different flowers arrangements to decorate your cakes.

Buttercream Flowers, Coloring and Cake Composition Workshop:

In this three hour workshop, students will be working with a 6” cake and learn flower arrangements, compositions and color combinations. We’ll also learn a different types of flowers such wisterias, branches, sweet pea, cherry blossoms, ivy leaf. The students will also learn how to elaborate the butter cream icing to create all this beautiful flowers. Special buttercream recipe will be provided.

Cupcake and cake topper:

In this three-hour workshop, students will learn how to make different modeling paste topper for cakes and cupcakes.

Introduction to Pastillage Technique:
In this three-hour workshop the student will learn how to elaborate, roll out and ensemble a pastillage sugar piece to take home.

Children Birthday Cake:

In this three hour workshop, students will learn different techniques to created children birthday cakes, using fondant, gum paste, modeling paste and royal icing. Each student will work on an individual project

Advance Piping Workshop:

In this two days workshop you’ll learn how to elaborated a perfect royal icing recipe to create bridges, string work and oriental extention work. You'll also learn how to pipe lace work, run-in collar work and south African lace work.

Cookie Baking and Decoration Workshop:

In this here hours workshop, the students will learn how to elaborate a special sugar cookie dough, a delicious royal icing and icing run-out to cover and decorate cookies. You’ll also learn how to created different designs using fondant and gum paste.

Handbag Cake:

In this three hours workshop. You’ll learn how to carve a cake into a fashionista handbag. You’ll also learn how to elaborate the perfect chocolate ganache recipe to cover and get a very clean smooth edges on your cakes. This cake will be cover by fondant and you’ll create different designs using gum paste and modeling paste.

Lady Shoe Topper:

In this three hours workshop, you’ll be learning how to elaborate the perfect pastillage paste to create traditional, classic and modern high heel shoes.

Refund Policy

In order to receive a refund, a 11 business days withdrawal notice is required. If a class is dropped 4-10 business days prior to the class start date, only class credit will be issued.

Please note a transaction fee will be deducted from the refund for each class that is canceled based on the following scale:

  • Classes up to $125 will incur a $20 fee
  • Classes in the $150-$350 range will incur a $30 fee
  • Classes valued over $350 will incur a $50 fee

Rescheduling a class still entails a cancellation and, therefore, a transaction fee will still be charged to students.

Absolutely no refunds or credits will be issued for a cancellation notice fewer than 3 business days from the class start date.

We reserve the right to cancel any class that fails to attract sufficient enrollment. In case of cancellation, all students will be notified and a full refund will be given.

The school maintains the right to deny student registration and/or entrance if more than 20 minutes late.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
