What you'll learn in this gardening class:

A class for beer and plant lovers alike! Learn about the history of plants used in making beer and how hops became instrumental in the brewing process. We will discuss the conditions and supplies needed to grow your own hops at home. Class includes a tour of the Herb Garden.

Notes:

  • Please bring your registration confirmation and a photo ID to the security desk at the 1000 Washington Avenue entrance, and you will be directed to your classroom. 
  • In advance of class, show registration confirmation for free admission to the Garden. 
  • For drivers, the parking lot is located at 900 Washington Avenue. 
  • Allow 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the Education building.

Refund Policy
Notify us at [email protected] at least five business days before the start date of the class or trip, and we will refund your fee less $10. If you must withdraw fewer than five days before the class, we will refund your fee only if your space can be filled from a waiting list. No refunds, transfers, or credits are given after the start date.

If BBG must cancel a course, you will be notified as early as possible and will receive a full refund. BBG cancels classes with insufficient registration approximately one week before the start date, so register early!
