Topics covered will include:

  • optimal alcohol percentages to use
  • when to consider alternatives to tincturing
  • an introductory discussion of phytochemistry as it relates to medicine making and extraction,

You'll learn the step-by-step process of making herbal medicine that is long lasting and effective, for both internal use and as botanical actives to incorporate into plant-based skin and body care formulas. Each participant will leave with their own tincture they make themselves!

Throughout the evening, Richard will weave in his vast experience and knowledge about the rich traditions of herbal medicine making, and the medicinal properties of plants. It will be an inspiring evening, about how making medicine can deepen our relationship to plants and awaken our innate powers of healing and resiliency.
