What you'll learn in this other teacher education class:

This workshop is for drama and dance teachers who would like to enhance their teaching and artistic skills through intensive study of the Alexander Technique.

Each day will include Alexander Technique group class, half hour private AT lessons, and afternoon sessions specifically tailored to dance and drama.

Our faculty are Alexander Technique Teachers with artistic practices, who apply the AT principles to the art of teaching as well as their own artistic disciplines.

2020 Faculty: Alice MacDonald, Tracy Einstein, Kim Jessor, Tom Baird, Jean E. Taylor, Ann Rodiger

“This was a time spent in the company of physically & ideologically curious minds embarking upon a journey of embodied awareness informed by the Alexander Technique. I’m taking with me an organic alignment that returns the body to an efficient and effective state, many ideas for lesson plans, a desire to integrate Alexander ideas into my practice and my life.”

- R. Raymond, Theater & Dance Teacher, Director
