What exactly are we going to be taught there? I am kind of confused.
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! The students will learn how to access the Lynda database for free with a library card and enroll in online courses (some of which include a certificate). Hope this helps!
Question from Henry D.
Can it be used in any library from then on? or is it specific to this library? For example let's say I want use lynda.com in some some random brooklyn library 5 days after the class is over. My question is would I be able to do so? (Sorry if i'm being annoying this just seems too good to be true).
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi, Henry! If you have a NY Public Library card you can use it anytime, anywhere. We are not certain if Brooklyn Public Library has a Lynda.com account but you can check with them if you are also interested in using it there. I hope this helps!
Question from Henry D.
Will Lynda.com be free after the class is over?
Answer from Angelica B. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi, yes as long as it is accessed in the library. Please make sure to bring your library card and your 4 digit pin.
