Amy Anthony and Amy Galper draw on their deep, rich knowledge and experience in the history, creation and applications of aromatherapy, essential oils and the distillation process. Well organized, relevant, hands on (or hands-in, in the case of distillation), with a perfectly integrated infusion from Barano's 'Alchemist of Cocktails', Fred, who deconstructed the ancient elixir of shrub, Amari and the not so simple syrup. And...as if this Distillation, Hydrosol and Cocktail workshop experience wasn't fantastic enough...it all took place within Williamsburg Brooklyn's biodynamic wine boutique, The Spirit Animal! One of the best workshops I've taken in the 10 years I've been studying essential oils and the art of natural perfume blending.
I really like it! Good class!
This class was so fun and hands/ nose on!! You didn't need to already be familiar with essential oils, and I learned so much and walked away with such a perfect blend i can proudly say i made myself!!! I am definitely interested in going back and taking more classes for sure. Aba was so knowledgable and supportive with great feedback! She had some fun and inspiring stories to tell along the way. Rahel was so sweet and also had some great input to help us all along. I highly recommend this class to anyone who enjoys scents, perfume, oils, crafting.

Wonderful experience! I learned a lot and met a group of amazing people! I'm a total beginner and this course made me want to learn more of essential oils and aromatherapy. Highly recommend!
Should be more hands on and well prepared. The slides should have been available or the email that was supposed to be sent to us. 1 week have passed...
Content and teacher was great. Class was tight, not much space to move around or store bags, books etc. Lesser students per class would allow the students to get more hands on experience of mixing boiling and prep work too.
Very informative class....got to know 24 essential oils, touched on the science of blending oils and how to make products. Amy is knowledgeable and an inspiring teacher. The class space is small but being with others in the learning process was invaluable. I feel more confident talking about and using the oils. Will definitely take another class.
This course was phenomenal! Highly informative, but also freely intuitive. Beautiful oils and fantastic teacher! (I now know how to make my own perfume, oil inhaler, and bath ball— yes!)
Beautiful offerings. This course provides various oils to make your personalized essential blend.
I was under the impression that it would be hands on, and that I would be making soap. I could have read the materials online myself and watched a YouTube video. For the price of the class, and what was offered, I would not recommend this class again. The instructor however was amazing! Great personality!
