Class size was perfect, instruction was really great. If any suggestion, I would say to make a different filling for the wontons than the dumplings. Really fun class, would take another with this instructor.

I really enjoyed the class and the food was delicious! My only gripes were having the food be communal instead of eating what you made and the price being a little steep.

I had a nice time. I enjoyed learning how to fold, shape and cook the dumplings and wontons. It would have been nice to also make the filing ourselves, and perhaps even make our own wonton and dumpling wrappers, rather then use store bought.

This was a good class. I had fun making sushi and eating it! What would have made a difference for me would be if the instructor were a little less rigid. She was very professional (and friendly), but this isn't a serious seminar, it's a weekend cooking class, and should be a more casual environment. For what it's worth, I think this mostly reflects on the comfort level of the instructor. As she gets more comfortable teaching the class, she might relax and show more humanity. The class was structured in a format where first she would demo the roll, then we would prepare it ourselves. While we are working, she should take the opportunity to circulate and help those who need it. I was quite happy with how my rolls turned out, but I realized late in the class that there was at least one person who was really struggling.

I was hoping for a more technical explanation of making the dough, not using store bought. I also expected to make "Wontons" which would be used in soups, I was disappointed that it was explained that "those type type of wontons would require a 2 day class"

The class was awesome! The instructor did a terrific job relaying a lot of information and providing great resources to further personal learning after the course was over. I especially enjoyed the smaller class size which allowed for individual attention. My sister was visiting from out of town, and found this course for us. It was one of the best parts of her trip.

I highly recommend this class for anyone who has an interest in Asian cooking. The teacher was clearly an expert and was able to answer any/all questions. I wish the class had been slightly more hands on. We were able to construct 2/3 items entirely; had it been possible to cook everything ourselves, this would have been a 5/5.

If i had to make one improvement to the class, i think I would have handed out gold stars to only me for the best dumpling and wonton.

I really enjoyed the class, but here is some feedback that would make it much better: 1. Provide chopsticks [if people are sharing items with their hands e.g. rice, fish, etc. then using those to their mouths, it's a tad gross. 2. Plating per person or per couple. If you are there alone you should be able to have your own plate/touching your own food. - A lot of the class is putting your hands in a bowl of communal rice. 3. Adding the ability to BYOB- it would be great if you could have some wine with the sushi.
