In 2017, Food & Wine added Peter Cho to the list of Top 10 Best New Chefs in 2017 and Portland Monthly bestowed his non-traditional Korean restaurant — Han Oak in Portland, Oregon — with the Best Restaurant 2017 award. This should come as no big surprise as Peter had spent many years working under April Bloomfield at The Spotted Pig and The Breslin.
