Hayden Herrera

Hayden Herrera is an art historian and critic whose influential biography, Frida, helped establish the artist's reputation in America and provide source material for the Academy Award-winning film of the same name. Her Arshile Gorky: His Life and Work was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Herrera has lectured widely, taught Latin American art at New York University, received a Guggenheim Fellowship, andcurated several Kahlo shows. Her biography Listening to Stone: The Art and Life of Isamu Noguchi will be published in April 2015.
