Michael Ryden

Teaches at Be Social Change

Michael Ryden got his start in the entertainment industry by training at the Chicago Actors Studio from 2001 to 2006.

Michael returns to CAS now as a teacher with a vast array of experience in the film industry; ranging from filming corporate commercials and promotional videos for fortune 500 companies such as Bosch, to a variety of music videos for recording artists signed to Atlantic Records, Menage Music, and Ultra Records. He also composes original music, and is working on a new album.

As a teacher, Michael has more than six years experience as an independent teaching artist with Columbia College, working not only with adult students, but also kids and teens, teaching acting, digital filmmaking and special effects with an emphasis on green screen technology. As a past student at the Chicago Actors Studio, Michael hopes to share his passion and talents for film making with students here.
