Mezcal from oaxaca is an affiliation of 12 independent mezcal brands dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of artisan mezcal, an ancient spirit and ancestral tradition born in the remote highlands of southern Mexico. Mezcal from oaxaca is a project created to support an art born from the soil. The goal of this project is to preserve, educate and share the love for the land and traditions passed down from generation to generation. Mezcal is an ancestral tradition. It is made from the heart of the maguey plant, the piña. Mezcal is a unique and complex spirit that is the result of generations dedicated to keeping the tradition alive. Oaxaca is where the magic of Mezcal is created.
