Geraldo Cadava

Geraldo Cadava is a professor of History and Latina and Latino Studies at Northwestern University. He co-teaches a course on Hamilton the man and Hamilton the Musical, called “Hamilton’s America.” Originally from Tucson, he moved to Chicago after receiving degrees from Dartmouth College and Yale University. He is the author of The Hispanic Republican: The Shaping of an American Political Identity, from Nixon to Trump, published by Ecco in Spring 2020, and of Standing on Common Ground: The Making of a Sunbelt Borderland, published by Harvard University Press in 2013.
