Mary Feinsinger

Mary Feinsinger has music directed many shows in New York and regional theatres. She has won many awards for her compositions—including a 2009 Jackie White Memorial Award, and a 2007 National Children's Theatre Competition Award. As co-founder, vocalist and keyboard artist of the West End Klezmorim, she performed at Carnegie Hall, The White House, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space and St. Peter's Jazz Church. The New York Times called her "the world's greatest Yiddish scat singer." A composer/lyricist in the BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop, she has had productions of her musical Understood Betsy all over the country.
