Julie Broderick

Teaches at Continuing Professional Studies at Bank

Julie Broderick, MSEd, is a fifth grade teacher of mathematics, literacy, and social studies at The School at Columbia University. In 2011, she received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Previously she taught second, third, and fifth grades at the Manhattan School for Children. She regularly teaches math classes at the Bank Street Graduate School, and she leads math workshops in elementary schools throughout the NYC area. Ms. Broderick has an M.S in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University and an MSEd in Math Leadership from Bank Street College. She has a BA in government and linguistics from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.
