Rachel Vining

Teaches at Input Lofts (formerly WECREATE)

Rachel Vining is an artist, designer and teacher-in-training. She has a Fine Art background and has worked as a stylist, costume and fashion designer in and around NYC, most recently at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and BRIC Arts. She is currently working on her Masters in Art Education at Brooklyn College. Rachel’s understanding of fashion is influenced by her childhood in the historic Hudson Valley, and her love of Art, History, Literature and Architecture. She is interested in fashion as the intersection of individual identity and the influences of society and culture.

Great class! Suggested to instructor that a 2nd, 3rd and so on levels should be implemented... ie. move on to the next chapter in basics of fashion illustration. I am looking forward to attending this class again!
