Sara Stopek, Leda Meredith, & Daryl Beyers

Sara Stopek holds a Certificate in Horticulture from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. She is principal of Sara Gardens, where she designs, installs, and maintains gardens for and with client gardeners-in-training. She has written on a wealth of gardening topics. Leda Meredith, holds a Certificate in Ethnobotany from the Botanical Garden and is the winner of the Teaching Excellence Award from Adelphi University. A professional horticulturist who works with both corporate and private clients in New York City, Leda has taught numerous Gardening courses at the Botanical Garden since 2002, with a focus on growing food and on horticultural techniques. She has been featured on The Martha Stewart Show, and is the author of Botany, Ballet, & Dinner from Scratch and The Locavore's Handbook: The Busy Person's Guide to Eating Local on a Budget. Leda is a contributing writer to numerous publications and hosts her own blog, Leda's Urban Homestead. Daryl Beyers has 20 years of professional landscaping experience and is the lead landscape designer at Poundridge Nurseries, Inc., in Pound Ridge, N.Y. In 2007 and 2008 he was a staff writer, photographer, and editor with Fine Gardening magazine.
