What you'll learn in this wine class:

Based on tastings of 9,000 wines and trips racking up 70,000 air miles during 2016, Michael Franz will present his top picks from the past year.

A few of the dozen wines shown will be ultra high-value choices, but the majority will be superstar selections from regions such as Champagne, Barolo, France’s Rhône Valley, Stellenbosch, New Zealand, Chile, and Napa.

In addition to tasting a slew of terrific bottles, we’ll also inquire into the people, places, and production techniques that explain the “why” of the wines’ greatness.
