What you'll learn in this intermediate arabic class:

In Media Arabic 1, students are introduced to mainstream Arab media. To gain familiarity with media vocabulary and text structure, students will look in depth at current events in the Middle East through video reports, articles, and social media. Media Arabic is meant to be an dynamic, ongoing class for upper-level Arabic students and as such, class topics will change from semester to semester and will accommodate differing levels of Arabic fluency. Class activities include presentations, discussions, and analysis of contemporary media articles and reports.
