MANDARIN BEGINNER 2: If you know pin yin and have some very rudimentary vocabulary such as describing people and talking about family but still struggle to hold a conversation and you are ready to pick up at the middle of Chit Chat Chinese, this level is for you.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES: Our Mandarin group classes meet online once a week for 1.5 hours. Our approach to learning is a blend between a formal approach focused on grammar and the basic structure of the language ­and an interactive approach geared toward situations that promote verbal interaction among the students while building up vocabulary. The primary focus of our groups classes is conversation.

HOW TO JOIN A CLASS: We have a rolling admission policy which means, you will be joining one of our existing group classes that fits the level description above. PLEASE NOTE, this is not intended as a one-time class but rather the first in a series of classes. Here’s how it works:

STEP 1: Choose your preferred section and start date from the options below to pay your deposit and set up your first class.

STEP 2: You will receive a confirmation for your first lesson from ABC Languages.

STEP 3: If the class goes well, we will apply your $50 deposit toward the enrollment package of your choice and the class you attended will be considered the first one of your enrollment. If the group is not the right fit, there will be no charge for this first class and we will be happy to help you find an alternate group.
