This class has been built to familiarize designers with the Inventor Nesting Utility. Students will learn about using and customizing the Process Material Library, Nesting Sources, Nesting Properties, and creating Nesting Studies. This class will also include the workflow for creating a 3D model of the nesting study, so they can create 2D profiles in the HSM CAM environment.
Who Should Attend?
This class is intended for users who need to be able to nest their flat pattern designs on a sheet for 2d cutting operations. Primarily geared towards Sheet Metal work, however the Nesting Utility is also usable for hybrid manufacturing environments that may cut from other sheet materials such as wood, foam, and plastics.
Prerequisite:
- Inventor Part Modeling (INV-101)
- Inventor Sheet Metal (INV-207)
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
