Florence Spurling

Florence is a textile designer who specializes in knitted, crocheted, and embellished fabrications. Originally from Oxfordshire, England, she trained in London completing her BA: Textile Design and MA: Textiles at Chelsea College of Art and The Royal College of Art. Shortly after obtaining her Masters, Florence moved to the USA to work as a sweater designer at the Anthropologie headquarters in Philadelphia. In 2014, Florence shifted her focus to the development of her own design practice, as well as teaching at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia and Parsons The New School in NYC.
