What you'll learn in this premiere pro class:

Learn the ins and outs of Adobe Premiere Pro, one of the most powerful motion graphics applications available. Learn how to import and create video files, edit rough cuts, work with transitions, color, opacity, Motion Paths, and special effects. Additionally, students will explore EncoreDVD, Adobe's DVD-authoring wonder, in a special one-day additional session, all bundled together in order that students get the best motion-graphics training experience on the market.

CLASS PREREQUISITES: Solid computer skills, Mac or Windows.

THE PREMIERE PRO WORKSPACE 
  • The Workspace in Premiere Pro-Navigating, working with floating windows. 
  • Getting to know the Workspace-Becoming familiar with location & navigation of the work area. 
  • Working with the Project window-Recognizing file types through their icons. Sorting file types in folders. 
  • Using Premiere’s new Hover scrub and redesigned project window to edit multiple clips at once.
  • Importing clips and image files-Learn how to import single files or entire folders of footage. 
  • Working with the Monitor window-Perform pre-edits. Also create sequences & automate to the Timeline 
  • Learn Premiere’s new and improved source and program monitor interface and their exciting new features.
  • Working with the Timeline window-Previewing your finished product and automatically adjusting speed of clips to fit your Timeline. 
  • Navigating to a specific frame in the Timeline and Program view. Utilizes keyboard shortcuts and other time saving techniques. 
  • Using labels-Helps you quickly recognize what types of files you're working with through icons. 
  • Using palettes-Color coding of file types

SEQUENCING AND BASIC REAL-TIME EDITING
  • Getting started-Learn about frame size, amount of frames, standard video vs. progressive video.

Refund Policy

A $25 administrative fee will be charged on all refund requests.

  • The request must arrive greater than 4 business days prior to the course start date.
  • No refunds will be provided for requests arriving less than 4 business days prior to the class start date.

Upon receipt of a refund request, students will be provided the option of receiving course credit towards the purchase of another class. If a student elects to receive credit, the administrative fee is not charged, and a voucher for the amount of the applicable class fee will be sent to the student’s email address. If a refund is to be given, the refund will be processed within 72 hours of notice of cancellation.

All classes need at least 3 students to run.

On occasion, a class may cancel due to low enrollment or unforeseen instructor conflicts. If such a case occurs, all students will be refunded less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.

We do not take responsibility for non-refundable airline tickets, hotel expenses, or any other costs that may be attributable towards enrolling in a class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
