What you'll learn in this composition class:
Learn compositing as it was meant to be learned! This class will be a thorough introduction to learning the fundamental principles of visual effects compositing. Then these principles will be applied to a node-based compositing system (like The Foundry's Nuke or BlackMagic Design's Fusion).
This class covers the essential aspects of compositing that will help you understand what's going on under the hood in any image-based application (Photoshop, After Effects, Maya etc.) and how to leverage that knowledge to make better creative decisions.
We'll also cover correct greenscreen procedures, accurate color correction and color matching, 2D and planar tracking, rotoscoping and 3D compositing. Prerequisite: While familiarity with digital imaging applications is helpful, no prior experience with modo, After Effects or Nuke is required.
(Note: classes include both lecture and instructed lab)
Evening Class: Instructed Lab 6:15pm-7pm, Lecture 7pm-10pm

Refund Policy
The student has the right to withdraw from the training without penalty at any time. Upon withdrawal, the Refund Policy will apply. The student is only obligated to pay for educational services rendered, and materials received but not returned.
If the amount the student has paid is more than what is owed, then a refund will be remitted within 45 days of the withdrawal.
The refund shall be the amount the student paid for instruction multiplied by a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of hours of instruction which the student has not received, but for which the student has paid, and the denominator of which is the total number of hours of instruction for which the student had paid.
All amounts which the student has paid, however denominated, shall be deemed to have been paid for instruction, unless the student has paid a specific charge for equipment as set forth in the agreement for the course of instruction. The last date of the student’s attendance is used for all refund calculations.
A student who cancels an enrollment agreement on or prior to the midnight of the seventh (7th) day of enrollment or after the student has attended the first class shall be entitled to receive a full refund.
Cancellation shall occur when the student gives written notice to CourseHorse.
You may cancel your enrollment contract with the school and receive a full refund without any penalty or obligation during the first five days of term. After cancellation, any payment you have made will be refunded to you within 30 days.
