Jessica Nicoll, graduate, Sarah Lawrence College; 92Y faculty since 1985; Hunter College dance faculty since 2010; performed with Kei Takei, Phyllis Lamhut, Claire Porter and others; performer/choreographer with Nicoll+Oreck Dance Theater; awards: 2007 and 2008 Boulder International Fringe Festival awards, 1999 Off-Off Broadway Reviews (OOBR) Award (choreography); 2007 BAX10 Award, 2004 Linda LeRoy Janklow Award (teaching artistry); presents nationally and internationally at arts education conferences; 92Y choreography students were the subjects of a chapter she co-authored with her partner Barry Oreck, in Vygotsky and Creativity (Peter Lang Press, 2010).
