Teaches at Blackbird Pilates

Founder and owner of Blackbird Pilates. A Southern California native, Rebecca graduated from UCLA with degrees in both Classics and Theater. While dancing at UCLA, she suffered a back injury and was first introduced to Pilates while rehabbing. She immediately fell in love with Pilates and immersed herself in the method. Within a few months, she started teaching classes herself! Rebecca initially trained with The Physical Mind Institute method before transitioning to Stott, a form of Pilates best known for integrating modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation. However, her training did not end there. Throughout her career she has been influenced by fellow trainers and physical therapists, and continues to learn and be inspired. Rebecca's techniques and approaches are constantly evolving, allowing her to create her own unique style. With Rebecca, no session is ever the same. She loves integrating the classical (more "ballet" like) style of Pilates, as well as elements of yoga, barre, and strength training all the while maintaining the integrity of Stott and a strong sense of flow. Her clientele ranges from beginners to the advanced, from professional athletes to Hollywood celebrities.
