In this delicious hands-on experience, you’ll learn to make, bake, and fill the best sweet & savory cream puffs – truly epic pastries that show off your amazing cooking skills.
We will start with one pastry recipe and change it up to make delicious, Instagram-worthy creations. You will make two completely different, but equally delicious kinds of cream puffs – traditional puffs filled with chocolate ganache and whipped cream, and a savory puff that is fantastic for happy hour or any time of day, really.
When we are done, you’ll have mastered the art of working with pate a choux and will have the skills and confidence to make pastry that will dazzle your friends and family.
Ingredients you need:
- Low-fat or plant based milk or water
- Butter
- Salt
- All-purpose flour
- Eggs
- Strong cheese, grated or shredded
- Dried herbs of your choice (i.e – thyme, oregano, Italian blend)
- Heavy cream
- Granulated sugar
- Vanilla
- Chocolate chips

- Skillet or saucepan
- Baking sheet
- Access to a stovetop or burner
- Wooden spoon
- Parchment paper
- Hand mixer or whisk
- Small mixing bowls
- Measuring cups and spoons
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
