Why Our Chinatown and Little Italy Tour Stands Out

Since 2009, our Chinatown and Little Italy food tour has been our most popular offering, providing an authentic taste of New York City's rich cuisine and cultural history. As the original tour of its kind, we have built enduring relationships with family-owned businesses, including some eateries that have been part of the community for over a century.

What makes this one of the best food tours in New York is our focus on much more than just delicious food. As you explore these two popular, must-visit neighborhoods, you will discover their character, flavors, and deep history. With a knowledgeable local guide leading the way, this tour offers a delicious blend of food, culture, and tradition that you will not find anywhere else.

FAQs

Can I bring my children on the tour?

While children are welcome, our tours are primarily geared toward a mature audience, since we sample a wide variety of cuisine and explore history and culture in depth. Younger children sometimes become disengaged. Although we are family-friendly, please consider whether your child will enjoy the experience before booking. We have found that children 8 years and older tend to enjoy the Little Italy and Chinatown Food Tour.

How much walking is involved?

We walk no more than half a mile at a moderate pace. During the three hours, there are frequent standing breaks, so you are not walking the entire time. There are also a few opportunities to sit throughout the tour.

Is the tour wheelchair and baby stroller accessible?

While we would like to accommodate wheelchair and stroller needs, coordination may take extra time due to the geographic limitations of the area. With advance notice, we may be able to make arrangements for your visit.
