My daughter was the only student in attendance at today's class which made it extra special. The chef was very patient and amicable. He gave us some history on chocolate before walking my daughter through the process of making her very own chocolate bites. My daughter hopes to become a chef when she gets older and our chef offered insight into his experiences and history in culinary school. I cannot say how this meant to me and my daughter. We look forward to taking other classes at Tache Chocolate and other culinary classes in general.

It was supposed to be a kids class and my kids were the only ones in it. The other students were adults. Having said that, my kids had a great time.

Question from Anonymous
I want to bring my granddaughter who is 4. Can I sit in the class with her? Otherwise, I don't think she will stay.
Answer from Kristle C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! As Chermalyn mentioned below, the school recommends to drop the student off in the class but if you prefer to stay, you may purchase another seat (adult price) in the same class. Hope that helps!

Question from Nicole
I was looking to do this with my 3 nieces. So my question is, can an adult be involved or is this a drop off?
Answer from Chermalyn P. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi, Nicole! The school advised that this is a drop off class but adults can join the class as long as they pay for their spot in the class. Adults end up learning just as much (by asking questions, by hearing their lesson, except they are not holding their own bag of chocolate).

Question from Susan L.
Hello, my nephew has seed, nuts and egg allergies. Is this class appropriate for him? Thank you very much! Truly, Susan
Answer from Angelica B. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Susan! According to the school, if it's a severe nut allergy it's better to be on the safer side and say no. Otherwise, they can accommodate and keep it a nut free class. We strongly advise contacting the school if you decided to enroll in the class so they can make the necessary adjustments.
