Beginning Banjo

The Jalopy Theatre and School of Music

4.5 44 reviews

This is a well-rounded course for beginners! It's great in covering both the fundamentals of the instrument and introducing music theory basics. The progression from chord development and solo melodies to Clawhammer technique seems logical and inclusive of different learning styles. Offering a mix of drills and basic songs will keep the learning engaging and practical.

It was great – Kyle was a fantastic instructor: he made the instrument approachable, adapted the course to the students' aptitudes, and inspired us to learn and improve in a very friendly manner. I'd highly recommend it!
