Join us for a creative deep dive into the blending world—texture, nuance, and balance take center stage. This immersive session invites you to engage your senses and sharpen your intuition as you explore how simple accords come together to form expressive, dimensional fragrances.

Evaluate the relevance of individual aroma chemicals and the roles they play in respective accords
Explore a collection of 10 sensory adjectives and use them to analyze accords, finished fragrance formulas, and aroma chemicals
Explore the differences between simplistic, linear, single-note accords and complex, multi-note accords
Explore the applications of accords in body care and room fragrances
Explore regulations relevant to accords and accord blending
Compose your own blend (in EDP format) to take home

(We recommend taking Blending and Dilution first. If you haven’t yet, please take a moment to assess your current knowledge to ensure you’ll feel comfortable in this class.)

Refund Policy

We offer to reschedule as needed 3 business days prior. There are no refunds, as we prepare ingredients and class materials beforehand.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.

This was such an informative and fun class, in which we learned both the lexicon for identifying and describing notes in perfume, and also how those words serve as the starting point for finding balance during the formulation and blending process. My favorite part was identifying aromachemicals within fragrances, because it felt like a little game lol. At the end, we got to pick some of our favorite notes and blend them ourselves. Would highly recommend!
