Tribeca Clayworks, at the Downtown Community Center. has 2 ceramic studios. One which is fully equipped with pottery wheels, kilns, clay extruder, and the other adjacent studio for handbuilding where the class is held. This class focuses strictly on handbuilding which is the basic and essential method to understand clay.
You will be instructed by our professional ceramic artists and learn many of the handbuilding skills that are needed to make all kinds of functional and sculptural works of art.
If you want to keep your work you can glaze your ware (during the session) and for $15 we will fire it in our kiln.

Cancellations made 3 or more days in advance will receive a full credit for a rescheduled date with this provider
Full refund if cancellation is requested one week before session starts.
For most classes, if you decide to withdraw prior to the start of the second class, you may receive a refund for the class fee minus a $100 cancellation fee. After that point there are no refunds available.
For the "Adult Introductory Ceramics Workshop" only, a full refund is offered for 24 hour cancellation notice.
