What you'll learn in this embroidery class:

In this 6-hour introductory course, you will learn how to draw with thread! You'll learn traditional embroidery stitches, image transferring techniques, and how to create lines and textures on cloth while developing your own style. Students will leave with an embroidery sampler and embroidery hoop to continue practicing.

All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. This class doesn't include access to free Open Studio.

The Evening Series are short in-depth classes, focused on techniques and projects that students can easily continue exploring on their own, at their home (studio).

Answer from Georgia C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! As of now, the only schedule we have is on 12/3. We really can't say when will it be offered again. The school is the one giving us the schedule and there's no update on that as of yet. You can add it to your wish-list so you can be notified via email when new updates are made on the website.

Intro to Embroidery (Evening Series)
Reviewed by Anonymous on 7/26/2019
I’ve taken embroidery classes before but I learned stitches I’d never known in this one. Cate was a great teacher and very responsive to the class. I would love for her to offer a second part to this class, with more stitches and letting us work on a first design.
