  This was such an informative and fun class, in which we learned both the lexicon for identifying and describing notes in perfume, and also how those words serve as the starting point for finding balance during the formulation and blending process. My favorite part was identifying aromachemicals within fragrances, because it felt like a little game lol. At the end, we got to pick some of our favorite notes and blend them ourselves. Would highly recommend!

  Exactly what I needed! I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out my new site's control panel and WordPress coding. The instructor covered everything from registering domains, navigating the control panel, and of course, building through WordPress. The final day was extremely helpful as well, as he walked us through the source coding for all of the site's components.

  Overall, this was a beneficial and very constructive course. The instructor was well prepared, experienced, a good communicator and knew the material very well. I thought the course progressed at a good pace with respect to the subject matter, slide, exercises, etc. The exercises were challenging, but not overwhelming, and were very helpful!

  My one-on-one makeup lesson with Lorin Cole was wonderful. She and I talked in advance about what I hoped to learn, and she created a session that met my goals perfectly. I left knowing how to update my look and what I needed in terms of a few different products to achieve that look. We reviewed my current makeup, she created a detailed list of what I use where, and gave me directions in writing with colors and techniques to reinforced what she taught me in person. I have been able to do everything she taught me on my own. Lorin is a real professional. She is as a former model, a working makeup artist, and a fine artist, all of which she puts into her customized guidance. This course was truly everything I wanted, and more.

  It was so informative and fun in unexpected ways. I'm someone who really enjoys the who/what/why/where/how behind things. I deeply enjoy wearing perfume and using it as a method of self expression. The class both deepens your knowledge and also expands it; I've found myself trying new scents and looking at perfumes with a more critical eye on sourcing and price. The conversation in the class was fantastic, both due to the classmates and the instructor. You don't make perfume in this class, but if you don't take this class, making perfume if you don't understand the process would be pointless. I particularly enjoyed the section around learning how to build a scent - the base, the middle, the foreground. If you enjoy perfume and would like to expand your scent palette, take this class.

  A warm and friendly vibe was palpable as soon as I entered the class even though I was a first timer both the instructor and other classmates who were regulars said hello with huge smiles. They were thorough in providing full disclosure that this was the fitness warm up and training class, not the true stage fight choreography, but I already expected that because they sent me a reminder email the day before class with the class title "Combat Simulation". The email provided the address description of facilities and what to expect during class. Class was easy for me to follow because of a few months of prior experience with karate and krav maga, because many of the moves involved incorporate martial arts of kickboxing elements such as roundhouse kicks, upper cuts, jab cross. It was organized like a group fitness class with a playlist of music and each song involving a set of moves that was explained and practiced once in advance. The instructor was energetic and upbeat and occasionally walked over to individual participants to correct or improve form or suggest modifications. The class also incorporated a strength element with squats, deadlifts, bear crawls, Russian twists and other moves done in combination sets. There was also a directed stretch at the end. I felt challenged but not intimidated and at the end other participants who were regulars and professional actor said I did really great for my first time. Some of the other attendees in class were regular stage or tv actors and told me they had taken this and the true stage combat class for over a year and used it in their profession. One of them was also the instructor for the stage combat choreography class and invited me if I would be interested to ever attend her class, and took the time to inquire if I had a preferential interest in either stage or screen acting so they could tailor the class to include instruction for either - like sound effects slaps for stage or camera angles for television. I felt very welcomed and encouraged by this as a new student and would think it a good environment if a budding actor wanted to make contacts among fellow attendees. The facilities and space they provide is very suitable with changing rooms showers and a stretching area and mirrors to be able to look at your form.

  Improvisation class with Dave, Walter, and everyone has been engaging. We did zip-zap-zop, three lines, switch game (switch the object), columns, fixed word count, genre, the world's worst xxx, and more. From not knowing how to start a sentence to calling back the terms we mentioned earlier and adding information to indicate who, what, and where, I stepped into the improvisation world. Every other member in the team were also doing their best. The liveliness of the class is inspiring and the concept of "yes, and" instead of denial can be life-changing. Highly recommend the class; wish to take more.

  It was a transformative experience for me. In the past 8 weeks, our class went from strangers to close pals. We played “zip zap zop” games, memorized each other's names, acted out skits, learned the 5 W's - what, why, where, when, and who - and performed play excerpts and monologues. I explored a different side of myself - a more verbal, aggressive, louder, more expressive side. The acting tools we learned are not only useful in acting but in real life, such as conversational tools, you know what I mean, casting, the unimportant, urgency, impulse, gun drop, and more. The class made me feel so emotionally secure that I cried while acting Prima Facie. I am thankful for every member's 100% commitment. It was an unforgettable experience.

The instructor, Gus Romero, was knowledgeable and engaging, making complex topics easy to understand. I also want to extend my gratitude to Michael C. Long, Ph.D., for his invaluable help and insights throughout the training. I learned so much, and the price of the course was unbeatable considering the wealth of knowledge provided. We definitely got more than what we paid for. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning more about perfumery and raw materials.I am definitely using what I’ve learned to provide better fragrance reviews and I know is just getting better and better for me,maybe I deep dive into perfume creation ?
