Alura

Teaches at Bellyqueen

Alura has danced with PURE NYC since it's creation in 2004 and is also the artistic director of the Columbia University Bellydance Club. She is a dedicated dancer, choreographer and instructor. Born in New York, she has always been drawn to the arts and fascinated by culture. She began studying classical dance at the age of four. Throughout her adolescence, she developed an interest in music, playing the clarinet for over 10 years. She rediscovered her love for dance while studying at Binghamton University and completed over 30 credits in classical dance and choreography, in addition to a bachelors degree in Management.
