Teaches at Three Jewels

Laurie’s first introduction to yoga came over fifteen years ago when her dad brought home a few yoga videos. Since that day, she has sun saluted her way through life, at times straying from the yogic path, but always returning to the practice in times of need. In 2007, she rededicated herself to the practice and began exploring many styles of yoga and ultimately earning her 200-Hour Hatha Vinyasa Teacher Certification from Om Factory School of Yoga in New York City. As a teacher, Laurie strives to create a supportive environment where each student can develop strength and discover a new sense of body awareness. Drawing inspiration from Forrest Yoga and the many wonderful vinyasa teachers she has had over the years, Laurie creates smart sequences that are both fun and challenging. Her ultimate goal is to give each student the tools to find balance and comfort in their own body.
