Mo Scarpelli is a director, producer and cinematographer of mostly non-fiction cinema. Her films have screened at major international festivals including the Berlinale, IDFA, SXSW, BFI London Film Festival, Thessaloniki, Visions du Réel and more. Her filmography includes the feature documentaries El Father Plays Himself (2020 Visions du Réel); ANBESSA (2019 Berlinale); and FRAME BY FRAME (SXSW 2015); and the short films EL HARA (Film Society at Lincoln Center 2017), DREAMS OF ROME (exhibitions across Italy), and SURVIVING KENSINGTON (Vimeo Staff Pick 2013). She is currently in production on her latest documentary feature FAITH, while also developing her debut fiction feature A SONG THAT SLAYS.
