Paula Christensen

Teaches at Susan Klein School of Movement and Dance

Paula Christensen is a native New Yorker (deal with it!) who is a recent California transplant (relax, dude!). 

While in Los Angeles she studied and eventually became a performer at the Groundlings Theater, where her favorite show to perform in was the Crazy Uncle Joe Show, the theater’s signature longform show created by Holly Mandel.  She also studied the classics at L.A.M.D.A. and has a bachelor of arts in Theater and Dance, and Anthropology from Amherst College.  You may have caught her on television on shows like Two Broke Girls, Modern Family and Partners, but you have definitely not seen her in the various pilots she starred in that never saw the light of day. Her teaching style has been described as “life changing,” but only by her mom.
